Super Check-in is a feature that allows you to do many things. It is typically used to combine several activity schedules together from different ministries for the purpose of allowing families to check into multiple activities from the same location. This is a convenient feature for families.
Another way to use a Super Check-in is to isolate particular activity schedules. In the children's sample activity we are working with, if you start Check-in using the activity code generated when you created the activity, all three service times would appear in the Check-in interface. This is a perfect scenario for the 9:00 a.m. schedule as you may have children checking into multiple schedule times. However, it's not so ideal for the 10:15 or 11:30 a.m. schedules. The challenge comes when running Check-in in Assisted (volunteer led) mode. It's possible to accidentally check children into the 9:00 a.m. schedule after the schedule is over.
Note: When running Check-in in Self mode, it is not possible to check into past schedules.
To solve this challenge, you will create two Super Check-ins for the 10:15 and 11:30 a.m. schedules. Volunteers serving at the 9:00 a.m. service will start Check-in using the activity code. Volunteers serving at the 10:15 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. schedules will use the Super Check-in codes.
